Our Moisture Measurement systems are top of the line

Proven to be the leader in dry kiln moisture measurement

Each of our systems are robust, simple to use, very accurate, and has repeatable capacitance-based, moisture content measuring and monitoring systems for lumber drying kilns.

Take the “guesswork” out of determining when your lumber is dry and when the kiln should be shut down, providing consistency from charge to charge, no matter which operator is running the kiln.

Continuous Dry Kilns

The KDS Windsor CDK system has a reverse flow double track design that incorporates preheating, drying, cooling, equalizing, and conditioning phases all in one extended chamber. The lumber stacks traverse through the kiln in opposite directions on the two tracks. The lumber is automatically advanced, based on temperature, time, and with the DryTrack® CDK option, the moisture content of the lumber in the main drying (MD) section by the pusher units.

DryTrack® In-Kiln Moisture Measurement System

DryTrack® CDK is the only system proven to automatically adjust push rate in CDKs controlling to desired moisture content

DryTrack® BDK allows for automatic shutdown integration, real-time M.C. readings that allow operators to detect hot and cold zones, and better charge-to-charge std. deviation

Real Time Wood Moisture Measurement System

Our proprietary real time automatic sawdust moisture content measuring system will constantly measure the M.C. of the green sawdust and/or dry shavings fuel.

This monitoring system allows the operators to monitor on their control screen the actual real time values of the fuel M.C. to provide a record of the fuel M.C. The control system will use these readings to adjust burner settings to account for dryer or wetter fuels to provide maximum possible control. This system is also offered together with fuel metering equipment in order to blend green and dry fuel automatically to a consistent reliable M.C.
